Every batch of kratom powder we sell is sent to an independent, accredited laboratory and tested before it is approved for sale — not sampled occasionally, but checked batch by batch. Testing covers alkaloid content, heavy metal screening, microbiological safety and moisture content.

Kratom isn't regulated. Testing is how we close that gap
Kratom powder is a botanical product, not a licensed pharmaceutical — there is no government body inspecting every bag before it reaches a customer. That responsibility falls entirely on the seller, and quality varies enormously between suppliers as a result.
None of the real risks are visible to the eye, smell or taste. Heavy metals can be present in soil and accumulate in plant material during growth. Microbial contamination can develop if harvesting, drying or storage conditions aren't controlled. Some suppliers dilute or adulterate powder with fillers to cut costs. Independent laboratory testing is the only reliable way to confirm what's actually inside a package before it's sold — and "independent" matters specifically, because a lab with no commercial relationship to the seller has no incentive to produce a favorable result, unlike an in-house test.
What every batch goes through before it's listed
Sampling. A representative sample is drawn from every finished batch before it is approved for sale, following a documented chain of custody from warehouse to laboratory.
Alkaloid analysis (HPLC). High-performance liquid chromatography identifies and quantifies the alkaloid profile of the sample, confirming it matches the expected profile for Mitragyna speciosa.
Heavy metal screening. Samples are screened for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury.
Microbiological testing. Samples are checked for Salmonella, E. coli, yeast, mould and other Enterobacteriaceae.
Moisture content. Measured to confirm the batch sits within a stable range — kratom that's too moist is more susceptible to microbial growth during storage and shipping.
A batch that fails any of these checks is not sold, regardless of how far along the supply chain it already is.
